For the getting good at finding studs. Just do it once and put ledger boards across the whole room which is attached to all the studs. Find them once. Install the boards. Repeat for every other board and then you have something you can screw into across the whole room without having to find the studs in the future
I have a feeling this guy has more dislikes than likes…
Sir,
I know you have now built your new home gym since this post but…..Please correct the flag in your background.
When the flag hangs in that position the stars need to be on the left as you are looking at it while hanging in that position.
Simply flip the starts so that they are displayed on the left.
This way we honor the flag and display it properly while hanging it in that manner.
Thanks Much.
I deeply love and enjoy your content.
Funny thing is I wanted the home gym experience at a commercial gym. When my wife finally gave me the go ahead I got just what I needed , but now I’m ready to make so slight space saving changes like a full rack I’ve the half rack . And getting rid of my old leg extention bench and replacing it with a dedicated leg extention machine . I’m going to save doing that for the next house though
Sorry I’m so late to this party. I’m just starting to piece together a home gym space. Got some rubber flooring, some Rep adjustable dumbbells, and a rack for it. And a Concept 2 rowing machine. Looking at putting up mirrors on the walls next. And maybe some stall mats and putting in a rep fitness 80” high rack with Athena selector plate attachments. My space is not big. It’s in the house, not the garage. It’s about 13 1/2‘ x 13 1/2‘ with some closets that limit floor plan. But the main problem is my ceiling is only 89 inches high and in the center of the room there’s a ceiling fan which cuts down the clearance even more. Starting to worry that I’m gonna feel cramped and may not use this space as much as I think I will. I know I can do overhead presses sitting, but just it’s the claustrophobia I’m starting to worry about. What do you guys think? I’m hoping that I use it and it doesn’t just become a room that gets unused? Can a space like this work well? Thanks. ✌️🤙👍🙏
